Ben Courson, director of Hope Generation.. speaks, in this gripping two minute video, the famous and classic poem “If” by Rudyard Kipling from memory and from his heart because God has greatly used this as a beautiful tool in his life. We can trust ourselves when we’ve decided to trust what God has told us instead of what others speak into our lives. We can become people of vision and make great impact by looking to God for strength to accomplish what we never thought possible. The Scriptures call us to be strong even when things are going wrong but we often don’t know what that means or how to go about it. In the Scriptures it actually says in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Because of this we can become a valiant people. We can see the kingdom of God brought to this earth through our lives as we walk in the victory God has wrought for us on our behalf.
